Cookie Notice
Last updated 3 October 2025
go:lofty is committed to transparency and compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the Croatian Electronic Communications Act and other applicable data protection laws. This notice explains how and why we use cookies and similar technologies on this website, what data they collect, how you can manage your preferences and what rights you have.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit the site. They may contain identifiers such as your IP address, session ID or browser details, which in some cases qualify as personal data under GDPR. We also use similar technologies including web beacons, tracking pixels, local storage and scripts, referred to together as cookies.
How we use cookies
To ensure the proper functioning and security of the website (strictly necessary cookies).
To improve your experience, for example by remembering preferences.
To analyse site usage and performance (analytics cookies).
To personalise content and deliver relevant advertising through trusted partners (advertising cookies).
Non-essential cookies are placed only with your prior consent. You can withdraw or change consent at any time through the cookie preferences manager in the footer.
Categories we use
Required cookies
Necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, submitting forms or adjusting privacy settings. Examples: wp-settings, which stores interface preferences for one year, first party; cookieconsent_status, which remembers your cookie choices for six months, first party.
Functional and analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the site and improve performance. They collect aggregated and anonymous information unless you have consented to deeper analysis. Examples: _ga from Google Analytics, thirteen months, third party, Google LLC in the USA, safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses; _gid, which differentiates users for twenty-four hours, third party.
Advertising and marketing cookies
Set through the site by advertising partners. They build a profile of your interests and show relevant adverts elsewhere by uniquely identifying your browser and device. Examples: _fbp from Meta Pixel, ninety days, third party, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd; IDE from Google Ads, thirteen months, third party.
A full and current cookie list is available in the cookie preferences manager.
Managing your preferences
Consent banner: on your first visit you can accept, reject or manage categories.
Preferences manager: available at any time in the footer to adjust settings or withdraw consent.
Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies, though parts of the site may then not function properly.
Withdrawal: once withdrawn, non-essential cookies are deactivated immediately.
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because they are not legally standardised in the EU. Cookies can always be controlled directly through the preferences manager.
Sharing and international transfers
Some cookies are placed by third parties such as Google and Meta, who may process data outside the EU and EEA. In those cases we ensure Standard Contractual Clauses or other GDPR safeguards are in place. We do not sell personal data. Where data is shared for advertising purposes, it is always based on your consent.
Retention
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Retention periods for each cookie are listed in the cookie table within the preferences manager.
Minors
This website is not directed at children under sixteen. We do not knowingly set non-essential cookies on their devices without parental consent.
Other tracking technologies
In addition to cookies we may use pixels, tags, SDKs and server logs for similar purposes. These technologies are subject to the same rules and controls described above.
Updates to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect changes in technology, law or business practice. The date at the top of the document shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be communicated through a banner or notification.
